SAP S/4HANA for international trade is part of the SAP S/4HANA core and is included in the SAP S/4HANA user license. The functional scope is identical for SAP S/4HANA on-premise/PCE and SAP S/4HANA public cloud. SAP S/4HANA for international trade is not a replacement for SAP GTS. SAP Global Trade Services are here to stay and remains the flagship product of SAP in the area of cross-border compliance and customs management.
SAP S/4HANA for international trade is meant to cover basic requirements for export control, Intrastat reporting and product classification. In this regard, international trade is comparable with the SD-Foreign Trade functionality in SAP ECC. However, Foreign Trade and international trade are not functionally identical or similar feature by feature.
